Mindfulness, or the practice of being consciously aware of our thoughts, emotions, and sensations in the present moment and without judgment, has been
proven to help alleviate stress, and to improve focus, overall mental health and the ability to control our feelings, along with offering numerous benefits for our immune systems and physical health. Participants will learn about basic concepts of mindfulness and other coping strategies and will have the opportunity to join in guided practices. Time will also be allowed for reflection on personal needs and ways to incorporate mindfulness practice and self-care into daily life.
